Publication Model
At Publibre, we combine accessibility, fairness, and sustainability through our Hybrid Publication Model—integrating digital open access, paid editions, and on-demand printing. This model empowers authors with choice, ensures readers with access, and protects the environment through responsible publishing practices.
1. Digital Hybrid Model (Open & Paid Access)
Publibre offers a dual digital framework where every book remains visible and citable worldwide while giving authors the freedom to choose their preferred access mode:
· Open Access Edition: Freely available to all readers for online reading and download — ensuring maximum global reach and academic or creative visibility.
· Paid Digital Edition: Authors may choose to offer a paid version (PDF/ePub/interactive), allowing readers to purchase the full book while keeping previews, abstracts, and metadata openly accessible.
This approach balances freedom of access with fair compensation for authors’ intellectual labor. All books, regardless of model, remain indexed and discoverable through unique URL, SEIPID or DOI, and X-PEN ID, ensuring long-term global visibility.
2. Print Edition (On-Demand & Sustainable)
Publibre supports print-on-demand publishing for authors who wish to release physical copies of their work. However, in alignment with the Expert Novice Group’s “Zero Waste Greeni” initiative, Publibre discourages unnecessary mass printing to minimize environmental impact.
Print Policy
· Print editions are paid only, as printing involves material and logistics costs.
· Printing is carried out on demand, based on confirmed reader orders or author or institutional requests.
· If the print version is not sponsored by Publibre, Expert Novice Group, Xpertno Research Center (XRC), or another partner institution, the author bears the production cost.
· The final price of the print edition is determined at the time of printing, based on page count, quality, and market demand.
· Sponsored or institutional publications may be distributed at reduced/high or no cost, depending on funding availability.
3. No Submission or Publication Fees
Publibre does not charge authors for submission or standard digital publication at any stage; all digital publications with us are free (read our publication fee policy). We believe creativity and scholarship should not be limited by financial barriers. Revenue generation occurs only through optional paid editions, sponsorships, or print-on-demand processes.
4. Global Discoverability
All Publibre titles/authors are:
· Indexed in international directories and metadata repositories
· Assigned unique URL/Page, DOI, SEIPID and X-PEN ID identifiers for verifiable citation
· Available under structured metadata for global search and referencing
This ensures that every publication — digital or print — remains visible, traceable, and academically recognized.
5. Sustainability Commitment
Publibre’s publication practices align with the Expert Novice Group’s Sustainable Knowledge Framework, emphasizing:
· Zero Waste Printing: Minimal physical production to reduce paper waste.
· Digital Empowerment: Encouraging e-distribution as the primary publishing mode.
· Green Knowledge Movement: Supporting environmentally responsible learning and dissemination.

Our Promise
Publibre represents a new era of publishing — one that unites openness with ownership, accessibility with appreciation, and innovation with environmental awareness. Whether digital or print, every work we publish embodies the same principle: “Every Voice, Every Page — Shared Freely, Sustained Ethically.”
