Royalties & Revenue Distribution

Publibre operates with a clear and ethical royalty framework that ensures authors are fairly rewarded for their creative and intellectual work. Our approach prioritizes author ownership, transparency, and sustainability — giving creators control while maintaining the platform’s quality and accessibility.

1. General Principle

Publibre is committed to author-first publishing. We do not charge publication fees or submission costs. Instead, revenue sharing is based only on actual sales or paid editions, ensuring authors benefit directly from their readership.

2. Digital Publications

a. Open Access Editions

·         Open-access titles are free to read and download.

·         Authors do not pay any fee for open access.

·         Publibre bears the full cost of hosting, indexing, and distribution.

·         Authors benefit from visibility, citation, and global readership impact.

b. Paid Digital Editions

·         When an author chooses a paid edition, Publibre handles setup, payment processing, digital delivery, and long-term hosting.

·         Authors do not pay any fee.

·         When a reader buy a book, the Royalty Distribution:

o    90% of net revenue goes directly to the author.

o    10% is retained by Publibre to cover operational expenses such as hosting, design, and indexing.

This structure ensures authors are rightfully compensated while Publibre remains sustainable and independent.

3. Print-on-Demand Publications

Publibre follows a Zero-Waste Greeni Policy under the Expert Novice Group (ENG), which discourages mass printing to protect the environment. Printed copies are produced on demand only, upon author or institutional request.

·         No Publisher Royalty Deduction: Publibre does not take any share from print sales, since printing, logistics, and distribution are handled by or on behalf of the author.

·         Author Responsibility: The author bears the printing and operational costs, unless the publication is sponsored by Publibre, Expert Novice Group, Xpertno Research Center (XRC), or another partner.

·         Pricing: The price of printed copies is determined at the time of printing based on:

o    Page count

o    Paper and print quality

o    Demand and order volume

4. Sponsored or Institutional Publications

·         If a title is funded or sponsored by Publibre, ENG, XRC, or any institution, the access type, royalty rate, or distribution terms may vary.

·         Sponsored works are typically released under Open Access or cost-sharing arrangements, depending on the sponsor’s funding policy.

5. Transparency & Reporting

Publibre maintains a transparent accounting process. Authors will be provided with:

·         Monthly sales reports (for paid digital editions)

·         Royalty summaries for payout calculations

·         Transaction tracking for institutional sponsorships

All financial and distribution records are maintained securely under the Expert Novice Group’s digital publishing framework.

Our Philosophy

Publibre’s royalty model reflects our belief that:

“Knowledge should flow freely, but creativity should never go unrewarded.”
